Hyundai Engine Company(HEC) is a subsidiary of Hyundai Heavy Industries(HHI), located in Daebul Industrial Complex, Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, and specializes in producing powerful dual-fuel engines that can be used for various purposes such as ship and land power generation as well as ship propulsion. The HiMSEN is an important national core technology product developed by HHI and has produced 15,000 units so far, take the first place with a 25% share in the global mid-size engine market.

The latest facilities and systems are built to produce a total of 17 products, ranging from 2,880 kW to 26,460 kW, and from powerful H35DF to H54DF as engine models.

We have refurbished existing facilities to build new, state-of-the-art production facilities specialized in dual-fuel engines and can produce about 100 unit HiMSEN per year. By continuously expanding production capacity and building smart factories, we are planning to provide high quality and service to our customers in safe workplaces with production capacity of more than 200 units after 2023.

Through continuous development and preemptive facility investment related to eco-friendly products, we will continue to grow into HEC that specializes in producing not only LNG DF engines but also methanol, ammonia and hydrogen fuel engines.
